Quite the Honor

Everyone liked Xavier Prize, but no one expected him to be knighted.

Some other friends of mine:

• Though he remains pious, Edgar Wahr has worked at a slaughterhouse for the last five years.


• Perhaps due to inbred lines of nobility, Gregory Law has only four toes on his left foot, plus a vestigial digit that doesn't touch the ground.


• Fairly noble himself, Francis Eberd gets to everything at least four minutes before anyone else.


• The young lady Diana Teak has had quite the enigmatic air to her since she was two years old.


• Albert Urrie is a world leader at making scented jars with a blend of four dried plants.


• Though he seems four steps or so removed from leadership, everything Ben Ippoli does, he does in a way that suggests it's the most important thing.


• Even as a newcomer to the military, it only took Carole Eare six months to become licensed to attack enemy shipping lines.


• Our teacher, Hiroko Shinall, is just fantastic—absolutely number one.
