Blank Verse Week
Mar. 31st, 2003 07:45 pmThis entry that I post is practice for
The week of April Twentieth, in which
All bloggers are encouraged, if they wish
To post in blank verse. (Post in blank verse? Why?)
Because that week contains the twenty-third,
Which was the day on which Shakespeare was born.)
There is a FAQ, and you can find it here,
Or read the version written in blank verse.
Everyone's encouraged to join in,
And spread the word! The more the merrier.

Date: 2003-03-31 07:18 pm (UTC)I'm grateful to you that you brought it up.
Have you a notion, or an estimate,
how many people plan to try it out?
(Far fewer, I'd expect, than keep it up
For all the designated seven days...)
