Jan. 11th, 2004 12:14 amWill post something longer soon, but random cool site: History Matters, a very interesting page of resources for history teachers. Haven't looked through it all; there's a lot of interesting-looking stuff about how to interpret primary sources (like oral histories, songs, political cartoons, advertisements, and so on). There's also a few puzzles based on history--not crossword puzzles, but some really cool stuff, like, "What alteration did we make to this mural from the New Deal public art project that makes it clear that it's been altered?" Michelle tended to be much better at these than I was. The G.I. Intelligence Test, however, is really kind of funny.
