Incidentally, the "no-e" music turned out to be a little monotonous (after all, it was nothing but Dar Williams, No Doubt, Phish, and a couple of Indigo Girls songs.

So instead I'm listening to all 32 songs in my collection with a "z" in the title. (Well, not quite "all 32"; I only listened to one copy of "Jezebel" by 10,000 Maniacs, and I don't know that I'll want to hear Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne" three times--once studio, once live, once by Peter Gabriel.) It's a nice strange mix of things: Phish's "Maze", Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne" and "Light as the Breeze" and "Take This Waltz", a couple of songs from Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon Zealot's song, and "What's the Buzz"), "All That Jazz" and "Razzle Dazzle", Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused", Animaniac's "Schnitzelbank"...

Stupid iTunes tricks amuse me too much.

Hmm. A non-trivial number of my songs with a Z in the title seem to be from Rondo Veneziano (a lot of their stuff is called something Venezia).

It never occured to me to do all these things with iTunes! This is brilliant! I have 27 Z-songs, 2 of which are titles about Bar Mitzvahs from the musical Falsettoland.
