Work, work, work

Hey, folks:

Due to a bout of worklike activity, I've been quite falling behind on reading livejournal. I'm not sure I've read anything since about Tuesday. Sunday might be my catching up day.

Related to the worklike activity, I've started a new journal here, cqs. I'll still use this one for all the things you've come to know and love it for (pointless memes, puzzle kvetching, that sort of thing), but I'll be using the new one to track my dissertation progress. That seems like a good thing to share with the world, right?

I will totally read you new journal. My only request is that you give us plebes who can barely follow your work an idea of what it is you're doing. Every time you've described it to me I've walked away going, "Wow. How Cool. Now if I only understood a tenth of it."

Also, I expect lots of excellent linguistic example sentences involving filth. :)
