Stupid stupid meme creatures
Jul. 1st, 2005 04:09 amColorwheel asked my six currently-favorite songs. Please don't give me grammaticality judgments on that previous sentence.
Truth is, I don't listen to that much music--only when working, and even then I have a tendency to play the playlist of "music that iTunes hasn't played in the last three weeks"--which means I typically don't get the same song repeatedly.
So I don't think I can even name six. I can name six that I'm almost always in the mood for, which doesn't make them my favorites:
1. Kids in America, Kim Wilde - 'cause it's bouncy.
2. Road to Rhode Island, Family Guy - I don't know, I just really like Brian and Stewie. Besides, it's taken more or less directly from Road to Morocco.
3. Famous Blue Raincoat, Tori Amos - I just get lost in the passion.
4. Postcards from Mexico, Girlyman - wait, do I even need to justify these, or just name them?
5. You Can't Always Get What You Want, Rolling Stones - which I don't have on MP3, I've just been singing it recently.
...my tastes don't really vary much from week to week, as I think about it.
