If you got up at five in the morning to read opera jokes on the Web, something has gone very terribly wrong indeed, and you need to realize that the opera jokes will all still be there if you sleep in until a reasonable hour of the afternoon. On the other hand, if you stayed up until five in the morning reading opera jokes on the Web, there is only something slightly terribly wrong.

By the way, I've brought this post to the attention of some people who might enjoy the opera jokes in question.

I finally had to give in and quit Too more or less cold turkey, on the grounds that I realized I was getting Nothing Done while logged in. Of course, reading opera jokes isn't much better.
