Oh, my, god.

You know, I love Monty Python. I've been watching the "Best Of" on weekends on PBS, and, mmmm, it's so nice to see again. And I really enjoy the Daily Show/Colbert Report, and seeing, for instance, Miss Manners on the latter amuses and pleases me. And I've got guilty pleasures, the warm glow of comfort from Star Trek reruns, and such. So, yes, TV junkie.

But hearing that theme song after so many years, it just did something visceral to me. My heart started racing. And the slight cheesiness showing through the nice modern effects. And when he leaned out the door and said, "I'm the Doctor, by the way," I actually started to tear up, because he was. He is.

Seven minutes in and I already love this show.

"Run for your life!" Or maybe, " 'Run for your life!' "

I love to see someone love their job.

I was never a fan of the show when I was younger but despite that fact AND having not-so-fond memories of Billie Piper when she was first gaining fame when I lived in England, I decided to give it a try anyway. I LOVED IT! It's been the subject of most of my Google searches since I watched it.

It's a good show. They definitely got its regeneration right.
