Right now I'm about ready to just give up entirely. On everything.

Today my computer hit one problem too many, and I said, that's it, I'm reinstalling the OS. What I didn't anticipate:

* I was using my wife's copy of Windows, not mine, which I hope doesn't matter, but.
* In the process, I'd lose the drivers for my ethernet and wireless adapters, which means I can't download everything again, or copy back over all my documents that I backed up.
* Everything else.

I've been feeling dispirited anyway, but this is...so intensely frustrating. Someone please come over here and make it go away.
