A few pointless quizzes

You know, somehow I suppose I'm not really all that surprised.



I was going to take What Element Are You?, but the questions just made no sense to me. I'm not new-agey enough, or pagan enough, whichever this quiz is. I mean...

Choose:
* Existence without form
* Substance without stability
* To return from which you came
* Form without substance

What? I bet this makes sense to someone out there. I hope they take the quiz. (Then again, I bet whoever this makes sense to already knows what element they are.)

And here I was hoping for a quiz about the periodic-tabled variety. I was looking forward to questions like:

* You're a proton. How do you feel about being packed in with lots of other ones?

* How likely are you to spit out pieces of yourself as clumps of you decay?

* How well do you get along with others?

But alas, just the classical four. The questions do make more sense if you're already sort of familiar with the kind of symbolism and correspondences and such that new-agey and/or occultish folks connect to them--in which case, yup, you already know the answer. (I'm earth, who would show a notable lean towards air if the quiz showed a statistical breakdown, by the by. Isn't that informative?)
