tahnanTonight, my laptop said, "Start up? Hmmm. Is 'freeze up' close enough?"
So I did the hardware equivalent of "close everything, shut down, reboot": shut down unscrew everything, take everything out, put it back, rescrew, reboot.
That worked. But I fear that it won't last.
