Oct. 15th, 2006 03:45 pmI decided to spellcheck my music library...
(Wow, that looks even more pathetic written down than it did when I thought it.)
...because I was tired of coming across typos in song titles, like "Pary" for "Party" and so forth. I try to catch these things when I rip the music, but I don't always manage to get them all.
But, man, spellchecking a whole bunch of names is annoying. To say nothing of going through Boiled in Lead: "No, don't correct 'Pontiaka'. No, don't correct 'Zabekiko'. No, don't correct 'Hijaz'...." Plus, of course, everything else ("No, don't correct 'Skullcrusher'. No, don't correct 'Nugehtfotra'...." You can actually get a good sense of my music just from the words not in MSWord's dictionary--Runyonland, Patootie, Kommissar, Milgram's, Muskellmann...)
But I did learn that Green Day misspelled "novocaine".
