The important thing here isn't that Julia Gray has a son--well, OK, it's important to her, and I do care, I suppose, but that's not why I bring it to your attention. The important thing here is that once upon a time, by which I mean like "last year", this would have been announced as
as if Steve Smith (whoever he may be) is the important factor here and, oh, yes, perhaps we should mention that Julia Gray, who you went to high school with, was somehow involved. This change is...well, OK, so there's still a list in here of the speakers at Christian Emphasis Week, and the motto of the school is still Luke 2:52 (look it up), but it's one more step towards the 21st century, and even a step so small was one I wasn't sure the school would ever take.
