Tentative plan
Feb. 22nd, 2007 04:53 pmOK, so here's what I think I'm planning to do:
March 22nd, take a 4pm train to Stamford, CT ($47), get there at 6:30. Hang out until the wee hours, take a 4am train to Boston ($49), get there around 8:00.
You who are going to the Stamford tournament: does that make sense to you? $96 is pretty close to what I'd pay for a train ticket to Boston (albeit somewhat more than I'd pay for a plane ticket), so I think it's reasonable pricewise. But is it sensible to plan to be at the Stamford Marriott from 6:30pm Thursday to 4am Friday? How hard is it to get from the Stamford train station to the Stamford Marriott (and vice versa)?

Date: 2007-02-22 10:29 pm (UTC)... that actually said "delayed trains", but since that is one of the funniest tacos I have ever had I'm going to leave it. (On the way to "trains" which I eventually had to spell, I also went through "brains" and "terrains". Oddly enough, that sentence came out fine, just now.)
