As I've just watched the only movie in the IMDb with the keyword "Medical Bill" (comedy from 1984), I figured a quick update on the keyword puzzle from earlier. Most of them were gotten, in fact.
  • Animated Chess: both pegged by Rubrick
  • Based on Painting: Also in the keywords: Spoof, Voice Changer. So it's not in fact Girl with a Pearl Earring, even though it should be. (The unique keyword there is "Delft Holland". I think there's a whole range of untapped place names to be done here. "Augusta Georgia" is unique, for instance. So is "Stockbridge Massachusetts", though it's for a Lansbury/Olivier TV movie, and not for the only movie with the keyword "Volkswagen Microbus".)
  • Human Needed to Save Alien Planet: no, seriously, you should have seen this when it came out in 1984
  • Swedish Sex Bomb: also, Funny Nazi
  1. Based on Cult Comic Book: guessed by Androidqueen
  2. Bubble Wrap: also Ostrich, Stupidity
  3. Cat Juggling: Lunch Boy and Hathor got it
  4. Champion Horse: Lapak knew it
  5. Corrupt School System: recognized by a skeptical Hathor
  6. Dragon Skeleton: known, alas, by Wesley Jenn
  7. Fake War: Androidqueen knew this one too
  8. Fictional Twin: Lunch Boy and his twin Dr. Whom Boy
  9. King Edward I: Dr. Whom, tentative but right
  10. Megalopolis: Aspartaimee (or else Hathor, whichever one of them is real)
  11. Multiple Heads: Lunch Boy, even without a "shrubbery" hint
  12. Remote Control Robot: Hathor probably knows it, but if it helps, it's also the only movie with "Steerage" as a keyword (other than an upcoming documentary on the same subject)
  13. Severed Horse's Head: Gnomi, with the first guess
  14. Sexy Male Vampire: Lilisonna knows her sexy male vampires (which, well, I already knew)
  15. Wheel of Death: Aspartaimee knows her sexy Tina Turner
  16. Wudang Mountains: Dr. Whooooom

The weird thing is that's the second time this year that a comment about that movie and the 80s has dropped the penny so I could figure out what it was. (First time was in a game of Pictionary. The person drawing, in despair, said, "You had to be a teenage boy in the 80s to know what this is!" and I said, "Oh! Last Starfighter," and she was completely hornswoggled. :))

Human Needed to Save Alien Planet
Well sure it had Will Wheaton in it, but he was saving an entire empire, not just a planet.

But he was just in the deleted scenes.

OK, yeah, I definitely do know the remote control robot one, and I refuse to say its name.

The Sex Bomb & Funny Nazi must be The Producers. I'm going to guess the original, but I could be wrong on that.

Hmm... I was thinking Adventures of Picasso, but I can't recall if there were nazis in it.

If the Funny Nazi had been listed first, I might have ventured Eating Raoul, because it contains my favorite scene featuring someone in an SS uniform. However, Mary Woronov is not Swedish.

Aha, Adventures of Picasso does feature Hitler. I'm definitely putting my money on tha. Screamingly funny movie and worth seeing, regardless :)

I got #12 from "Steerage", but now I'm curious about [profile] hahathor's reaction to it. I went in thinking I wouldn't like it, but I didn't mind it at all. I can't hate a movie with Kathy Bates!

My original comment was "I think I know 12, but just thinking of that movie ear wormed me with a song that I wish I had never heard, so I'm not going to mention it." Of course, having been at a Jonathan Coulton concert last night, Celine really has no ear-worming power at all.

I did like the movie; but oh god the song will go on. And on.

Yeah--the original, not the sequel.

Bubble Wrap couldn't be Booty Call... could it?

Dude Where's My Car also strikes me as a possibility.

It's "Dude, Where's My Car" (which I saw some of, but not the bubble wrap scene).

"Volkswagen Microbus" is clearly Alice's Restaurant, however.

Yep; it takes place in Stockbridge--well, the song does--so you'd think that might be a keyword for it; but, well, no.

Someone already nailed 'the producers' but I feel like saying 'Gutan Puday," so, well, Gutan Puday! Bialyshtock and Bloooom!

OK, this is just a strange thought, because the movie isn't really based on the painting, just one shot (which was used for the ad campaign), but is the painting, by chance, a Munch?
