Some Random Facts

Call it a meme if you like, but: here are some random facts about people on my friendslist. I shan't tell you who each fact is true of, but speculation or self-revelation is welcome, if it makes you happy. "Zie/zir" is a gender-neutral pronoun. (This isn't meant to be "postsecrets"-style confessional; just random facts. It kinda came out that way though.)

1. Thanks to _____, I can't use a toilet seat cover in a public restroom without thinking the phrase "maintain the sanctity of my butt".

2. No matter how many times I see _____, I'm just...not sure. It's not that I don't like zir, it's not that I don't trust zir, it's just that I'm, you know. Not sure.

3. I feel like I haven't spent nearly enough time with _____. That's true of much of my friends list, I suppose, but in this case, _____ is someone I'd really like to just sit and talk to with no external interruptions or obligations for about three or four hours. I fear I'll never get the chance.

4. I spent much of last weekend interacting with _____, though I hadn't seen zir in slightly over twenty years.

5. Of everyone on my friendslist that I haven't lived in the same city as in the last ten years, _____ is the one for whom I'm the most sorry about that. I wish I did; I wish I could move where zie is or that zie would move where I am, because I know I'd appreciate that kind of day-to-day casual contact and I think zie would too.

6. Sometimes I don't think I respect _____ as much as zie deserves.

7. I've gotten much, much more guidance, both personal and professional, from _____ than zie probably realizes.

8. _____ is the nigh-pinnacle of womanhood. But her cat sucks.
