Our third anniversary was last week, and--"fur" is the traditional gift for the third, right? I hope so, because we got each other fur:

The larger one is Rebo; that was sort of the main criterion, though Zooty is, as you can see from the pictures, much better at folding herself up into a small package. Rebo is also, though not more talkative, certainly more outgoing. (So far.)

Yeah, sometimes I have to remember not to call her "Patches". I even resisted her charms at first. (Michelle was the one drawn to her; I fell for Rebo, whose primary method of interaction with people visiting the shelter was to OMG RUB HER HEAD AGAINST THE BARS PLEASE LOVE ME! I couldn't resist.)
