Date: 2009-02-07 02:08 am (UTC)When my UK publisher was doing search and replace to Anglicize the book, they accidentally changed "armor" to "amour" throughout the entire book.
Btw, if you're changing a word from, say, Russian or Greek letters to our letters, is what you're doing "Anglicizing" the word? No worries if you don't know. It just struck me that you might.
I've been struggling with what to say I've done with a Martian name that I've translated to English.
