Yes, I did see The Two Towers last night at midnight. Yes, it was good. Although Gandalf's role seemed much smaller in this one, which is a shame, insofar as McKellen's performance in the first seems more like the Oscar-quality one to me. But then, I have no idea what the third book is like.
