The world; hatred thereof

Right now, the good things in my life enumerate:

• My wife
• My two cats
• The two friends who are putting us up for two weeks. (The other two aren't here right now, so screw 'em.)
• The fact that I am not in Philadelphia

Everything else can go to hell, except possibly not being in a car any more. If you're one of the people who ought to be a good thing in my life, check back in a day or two.

Hey now, the cats still love you. Zooty seems to be wandering around wondering where Becca is.

Anyway, mood improving. Tell you what: if you spend six hours cleaning and packing and carrying heavy things, and then spend eight hours in a car with caged cats, you're perfectly welcome to write me out of the set of good things, too.
