NPL "Community"?
Jan. 31st, 2003 03:19 amSo you know what LJ needs? It needs an NPL "community" journal. I mean, there are enough of us on LJ that we might as well have a place to post and say "dear god almighty what is up with that Wrybosh rebus?" or "if anyone out there has a good phrase shift in mind, do me a favor and write a curtailment instead," or "hey, I've got this terrific phonetic deletion base if anyone wants to versify it," or all those other things we could post in our regular livejournals, except that it would confuse all our normal friends.
OK, I don't have any normal friends. But you get the point.
The thing is that you need to create an account to create a community, and I'm not a paid member, so I can't actually create any more accounts (having made, you know, one). Any Krewe out there want to actually form the community?
(Also: I do have this really good phonetic deletion, partially non-MW but pretty familiar, probably not a hard verse to write, I'm just not thinking of anything, if anyone wants it. Hey,
jadelennox, you've written doggerel for puzzles before; want to versify this? ;-) )
