Of all the things I thought I'd have to look at just because someone sent me the link, I never would have included on the list slash between a building and a giant squid. Don't read it at work, or indeed probably at all. (But it's hilarious.)

Via Topless Robot, whose list of The 10 Most Mind-Shatteringly Awful Fan Fiction Fridays of 2009 you really, really shouldn't read anywhere ever. Which didn't stop me. (But I kind of wish it did.)

Ow. Ow, ow, ow.

Every time I think I've finally built up an immunity to fanfic -- or an immunity to "Hey, check it out; you don't want to read this!" -- I am proven wrong.

WOW.

Oh, I know! There's a reason Deborah and I have the motto "we always have to look"—it's because we always have to look. And one reason we always have to look is that we think we're immune to any further disgust...and then things like this happen.

I just read the excerpts, and now I need to go wash my brain out with bleach.

I'd recommend trepanning, unless you read any of the Lucius/Draco, in which case I just made it worse.
