For those who keep track of such things, this year's first-round CISRA puzzles have been posted, and they're quite nice. If you're looking for puzzles to do, round up a team (or do 'em yourself, in the "Iron Brain" league) and take a look.

I had forgotten about this, and found 1A and 1B both quite enjoyable and good "Day 1" puzzles. I just finished 1D (literally five minutes ago), and despite having a lot of difficulty with it, found it a very enjoyable puzzle type.

Still no clue as what to do with 1C.

I thought 1D was a very nice construction. 1B, oddly, was the last one I solved. 1C takes a certain amount of insight (obviously! since there's very little information on the page), but it's all the more satisfying to have solved as a result.

Finally got 1C and would agree with that assessment. Now let's see if I can remember to check out group 2 puzzles the day they come out.
