For those wondering what happened in Boston, I found a picture (I admit it's not great, but it's the best I can do):

As a reminder: boiled water isn't just for drinking and food prep. If you're in a "boil water"-affected area, don't give tap water to your pets, don't wash your hands in tap water, don't brush your teeth with it, don't shower longer than is necessary. Don't even blink.

I did a wet, lather without water running, rinse on Sunday morning. I flashed back to summer camp, when we had a drill instructor for a camp counselor, and she only let us have 60 second showers. Weirdly intense for girl scout camp, I thought.

At some point when we were in Philly, our apartment decided to have no hot water (I'm pretty sure this was in Philly), and I bathed by boiling a pot of water, carrying it into the bathroom, mixing it with cold water as necessary, and pouring it over myself. I felt so...ancestral.

When I was a kid I took a bath in the Delaware. Biodegradable camping soap and a bathing suit.

I like thinking that the end of this competition is one of us getting tongue-bathed by a tiger.
