Things I enjoy; things I don't
Jun. 13th, 2010 03:38 amI've been playing Zelda: Twilight Princess for a few weeks, and I've liked it right up to Boss Battle Number something kind of large, which is apparently just an experiment to see how many times the game can make me catch fire and plummet to the ground before I check a walkthrough to see what I'm doing wrong, and then how many more times it can happen before I roll my eyes and turn off the game. ("Fifteen" is a decent approximation to both questions, though I admit I lost count and tried to approximate by the amount of damage I'd taken and how much I'd healed.)
But on the "things I do enjoy" hand, I just ate...see, the thing is. I like granola, and when I came across a recipe, I discovered I liked granola even more when I made it myself. The recipe came even more in handy when, one Passover,
jadelennox's mother gave her matzo granola, which Jade passed along to me. So that's been a Passover staple for a few years, and once Passover ended this year I made regular granola again and, god help me, I discovered I preferred it made with matzo. Which means that when I was grocery shopping the other day, and Michelle jokingly asked "Do you need any matzo"...and so here I am, willingly eating matzo outside of Passover. I need professional help, but I'm not sure if I should see a therapist or a rabbi.
