I'm watching Logo, as I'm wont to do when SyFy lets me down, which is, let's face it, often. (And Logo shows Buffy. Also, other things.) Unfortunately, at the moment, Logo is showing the first episode of "RuPaul's Drag U", in which drag queens help turn women into, um, drag queens, or something like that.

I watched a fair amount of "RuPaul's Drag Race", the competition reality show in which drag queens competed against each other. I gave up on it when (a) I got tired of how incredibly bitchy some of them were, and (b) they eliminated Pandora Boxx. (Personal note: if you're out there reading this, Pandora, you were so obviously the best of all of them! I was swooning when you were on. My wife was a fan too.)

Anyway, the thing that strikes me the most about this episode, which features three tomboys, is that there's something very, very wrong about the idea of men who dress as women convincing women who dress as men to stop doing so. To stop acting like they're the opposite sex. And suddenly Sharktopus is looking like the better choice.

Except when Pandora Boxx is on. That makes all the difference.

(Note: sadly, I'm not making up Sharktopus. Look it up.)

They definitely need to do a Drag U/Sharktopus crossover.

[Having looked it up as instructed.]

Wow. It's a shark that can jump itself.

So you'll be hosting a Sharktopus-viewing party, right?
