I've just caught up on the new season of Doctor Who. At the risk of spoiling: what the hell just happened?

Yes, it certainly did.

At this point, I'm not even sure it did. (Seriously, half of the things that happen in Moffat episodes don't even happen.)

don't think about it. Basically, there was an interspecies lesbian Victorian relationship, and also lots of semi-bad guys making worse guys go boom. If you try to make more sense than that your head will explode.

But they...and its not just what just, I mean, the entire last few...I need to, I mean, because when they first, also, who were, I mean how did, and also, ew interspecies is one thing but scales that just doesn't seem right.

So take some blue yarn and call that the Doctor's timeline. And then some red yarn for Amy's timeline, and some brown for Rory's. Then you take some green yarn and run it in the other direction for River's timeline, and loop around the others, and make sure to pass through the beginning of the season, then come back to this episode to tie off the beginning, and look! You have a beautiful macramé bracelet!
