Enigmarch, Day 5: SIGN

Am I doing a great job of keeping up? I am not. I felt very blocked on this one for some reason. I kind of wanted to something with a series of signs like

which would be SIGNAL ("sign Al"). A sign "or", a sign "if I can't"...but anyway, you get this.

You know how when you're trying to get everyone in the office to sign, like, a birthday card, but some people take up too much space and then everyone's leaving for a holiday weekend because summer's starting and...anyway, what word could you use to describe the guys below?
