The Matrix Unloaded

tahnanSo I saw The Matrix Reloaded tonight, and I think my main reaction was that I liked X2 better.
I thought the first third dragged, I thought the plot was a little incoherent, I didn't like some of the script choices which I won't go into here, I didn't like the lack of transitions (here we are, in the Matrix, Neo's just done something cool, Trinity looks at him approvingly, cut to Morpheus talking to Ne--wait, we're out of the Matrix, when did that happen?). I'll see it again, I'm sure, but, I don't know, I thought the first one was a more coherent story. (And the first one isn't known for its coherence.) There were certainly some things I very much liked about it, it wasn't a disaster of a movie, but...I just wasn't that impressed.
