Electronic woes

tahnanMy laptop's CD/DVD drive, while playing CDs without a problem, is failing to recognize DVDs at all.
The stereo in the bedroom is not playing CDs, and its clock is not working--I didn't know it was possible for a digital clock to stop, but sure enough, it's managed it.
The battery on my Palm Pilot is drained and will not recharge.
Why can't things just, you know, work?

Date: 2003-10-17 09:34 am (UTC)Perhaps you are experiencing a Woody Allen "attack of the appliances" sort of thing. Have you noticed them meeting together? Have they made any demands you haven't met? Could they be unionizing?
