tahnanYears ago, I met Raymond Smullyan at a party. As I'd read his books and studied logic in college, I remarked to him, "There's nothing you can tell me about logic that would surprise me."
He considered this for a moment, and answered, "You will come to know that this sentence is true."
When he told me this, I laughed at him and said, "That's clearly false! I'll never do that!" But as the years have gone by, I've been surprised to come to the realization that what he said was true after all!
