Yes, yes, huh?, with you there, sooo with you there, yes, yes, and if I don't get a cold this week I'll be surprised.

I thought of you yesterday because a bunch of us were talking about Yiddish and I found myself trying to demonstrate the characteristic Yiddish intonation and had to channel you. :) Fwiw, it turns out that although Yiddish is based on the German from SB's home area, her dialect does not have that intonation.

Serenity is the latest geek movie phenomenon, based on Firefly, by the guy who wrote Buffy, and it's all well and good except that I just haven't had time to watch the TV show, and I haven't had time to watch the movie, and I'm just kind of tired of everyone having seen it and everyone knowing it's the best thing since sliced Trek and I'm just tired of it.

Search, search, search, oh, that SB. You'd think that'd be one of the first Germans I think of these days.
