I used to have something of a Pop-Tart problem. I knew they were terrible for me, I knew they were doing my body no good whatsoever, and yet...Pop-Tarts. I'd keep buying them. And eating them. Too many of them. It was bad.

So I quit, cold turkey, and I believe I haven't touched a Pop-Tart in years. Sometimes I get cravings, but mostly I'm OK.

Until organic toaster pastries. I didn't so much fall off the wagon as jump in front of it and yell "run me the hell over!" As long as it's organic, though, it's OK, right? Right?

Of the top 7 ingredients, 3 are sugar and 1 is oil.

Ahem.

No! Organic evaporated cane juice is not sugar! Duh, it doesn't even have the same number of letters! And even if it is sugar, at least it's organic! Not silicon-based at all! And some of it's inverted! Yum! Won't stick to your liver! Or something!

So, do you use that icon when you're not talking about inverted stuff, or is this a special occasion? ;)

Inverted

It does fit that purpose, true :)
Typically, that icon is my way of saying "I'm being silly."
It refers to a habit/wee little protest I have of turning books/videos/etc. I find silly upside down while at stores.

I know you know this -- or suspect it anyway -- but true organic farmers long ago completely lost control of the word "organic," the official FDA-sanctioned definition of which you probably wouldn't like at all.

But I'm sure they're yummy!

I've found they're not quite as addictive as the eeevil kind. So they must be better for you!

I ate two bags of organic microwave popcorn last night. For supper, I think.

They're bright colors and have a slight chemical taste. Also, they're Pop Tarts. They can't possibly really be healthy, can they?

Pop Tarts are perfectly fine, as long as you don't toast them. Everybody knows that.
